Our Knockhall project is located in Newburgh, Aberdeenshire, below the historical setting of Knockhall Castle.

Impressive views to the beach were a key part of the design brief, and an angled footprint created external natural enclosures and channeled views towards the coast. With a monolithic material palette of black timber cladding, this home has a minimalist appearance, surrounded by the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside.

The ASA (Aberdeen Society of Architects) Design Awards take place on Friday, March 14th.
